Bible Stories Made by a Dad, for His Son

When my son was two years old, I started looking for Bible stories he could listen to on his Toniebox. I wanted something well-produced, age-appropriate, and genuinely engaging — stories that would hold his attention the way his favorite audiobooks did, but that were rooted in Scripture.

I couldn’t find exactly what I was looking for. So I made it myself.

The Story Behind the Stories

My name is Matt Hartwell. I’m a Christian dad, and Tiny Testaments started as a personal project for my own family. I wanted my son to grow up knowing these stories — not as dry recitations, but as the vivid, dramatic, life-changing accounts they actually are. I wanted him to hear about David and Goliath and feel the tension. To hear about the birth of Jesus and understand why it matters.

So I wrote the scripts, hired voice actors, and produced every story with the same care I’d want for my own child.

What I didn’t expect was how many other families were looking for the same thing.

What Makes Tiny Testaments Different

Every story is 10–13 minutes long — the perfect length for a bedtime listen or a quiet afternoon. Each one includes discussion questions so families can keep the conversation going after the story ends. And every story is compatible with both Toniebox (via Creative Tonie) and Yoto (via MYO card) — the two audio players Christian families are reaching for most.

We’re not trying to be the biggest Bible story publisher. We’re trying to be the best one for little ears.

A Note From Matt

I believe the Bible is the most important book ever written, and I believe children are never too young to start hearing its stories. These aren’t watered-down versions — they’re faithful, engaging retellings that respect both the source material and your child’s intelligence.
